Use Your Mars
Your Guide to the Major Transits and Lunations of April 2026
In commemoration of Aries season, I’d love to just dive right in and start writing about this month’s transits. But I’m a Libra rising, aaand I’d hate to give you the impression that I think foreplay can be omitted in some cases. It most certainly cannot and shalt not.
If you’re reading this, you likely have survived this past eclipse season… in one piece or a few. And what an eclipse season it was! I don’t know about you, but it was A LOT, emotionally, for me anyway.
I experienced the most powerfully liberating, empowering, and enlightening healing experiences but also the sort of confusion, emotional fog, deep disappointment and frustration, and general upsetness that one might assume the inner/healing work somehow allows you to magically leave behind at some point. Well, it doesn’t, let me tell you. In fact, the deeper you go, the more complex the emotions and karmic patterns you have to confront… and the deeper you just feel things. All things. Even and especially the highly uncomfortable ones!
Growth is uncomfortable. And change, depending on how attached you (or certain parts of you) are to certain habits and patterns or people or aspects of yourself, is verrrry uncomfortable. It does get better though… in so far as you learn to give yourself some grace. You learn how to ask for help and for what you need to heal. And eventually, you come to surround yourself with friends who will also give you grace — and support you in whatever way they can when times get tough or you get a little weird.
It ain’t easy going sometimes, and the only way to make it through — without completely losing your shit — is to give yourself all the space, time, and nurturing you need. Hopefully, you were able to do that for yourself this past eclipse season. If not, it’s not too late to start doing that now.
We still have the North Node (of the Moon), Vesta, Mercury, Pallas Athena, and Mars all in gentle and compassionate Pisces as well as Jupiter in the sign of its exaltation Cancer, which I discussed here. So, if you haven’t developed a routine or regular way of making sure you have the space and time you need for self-reflection and self-care, for sitting with your emotions, and for getting in touch with your heart center — now is the time to do that.
Aries season is a great time to do those things that feel a little selfish (for some of us) like asking people to give you some time alone or peace and quiet or whatever it is you need to continue being a sane and relatively stable human being.
And Taurus season, which starts on the 19th (EST) / 20th (JST), is an excellent occasion to prioritize feeling yourself as in literally feeling and listening to the sensations in your own body — completely independent of another and at your own pace. Because that’s what Taurus wants and needs and because it is a gift that we can and should give ourselves regularly… especially as the world gets more chaotic and strange… and the people around us start to lose their shit… for better or worse!
The Major Transits and Lunations of April
Stepping into Your Own Authority
By the time this reaches your inbox, Juno will have moved into the sign of Aquarius, Venus will have moved into her home sign of Taurus, and Saturn and Pluto will be in their first sextile aspect since they met up in that fated year of 2020.
So, the first major transit we’ll be working with this month is this sextile between the planet of struggle, responsibility, karma, authenticity, and authority, Saturn, and the planet of power, wealth, death and rebirth, Pluto. I consider this aspect to be an invitation from the cosmos to step into your own personal authority. Whether you can or not will depend on how you work with your own natal Saturn and Pluto, so I invite you to contemplate these two planets in your natal chart.
Notice what signs your Saturn and Pluto are in and what aspects they are making to each other (if any) or to any other planets or points in your birth chart. Are the signs in which they reside compatible? Are they in conversation with one another by aspect? What other planets or points in your chart are they communicating with or through? Or perhaps controlling or intensifying? What houses are they in? If they are in different houses, consider how these two houses of your chart are being asked to come together or work together at this time.
If you are able to, I invite you to also look at where these two planets are by (secondary) progression as well. Saturn and even more so Pluto will likely not have moved much by progression. But due to the movement of other faster moving planets, they may now be in a new conversation or different relationship with certain planets or points in your natal or progressed natal charts.
You can also simply ask yourself: Where in my life do I want to stand (more) in my own authority? How can I go about doing that? Is there anything or anyone holding me back or preventing me from doing that?
Another thing you may want to consider is what has changed in your life since January of 2020. For most of us, a hell of a lot has changed since then. I invite you to contemplate what has ended in your life since that time and what you’ve been in the process of giving birth to. What have you been working on and putting your time and energy — or pouring your blood, sweat, money, and tears into?
If you’ve been working diligently at or on something you love over these past 6 years or so, then you may find that things are finally starting to come together. It may feel like you have a much better grasp on what you need to do going forwards and can also look back and see how far you’ve come. If you’ve been doing the work, then you likely have enough experience (having learned from your mistakes) and know-how now to step into your own authority when it comes to the things you’ve been studying, practicing, and putting your time and effort into.
Don’t be afraid to speak up and put yourself out there — if you do actually know what you’re talking about. Don’t let others silence you. Now is the time. Get out there and do your thing. We need the kind of leadership that shows by example and speaks the truth, that acts in integrity and does not back down in the face of ignorance and baseless attacks.
The world needs people who command respect not by demanding it (or lording their “power” over others) but by standing in their own authority, an embodied sovereignty that comes from real-life experience and founded upon the wisdom that comes from sitting with the pain and spending time in your own darkness.
This is the inner authority that comes from truly knowing yourself, inside and out. Authority that comes from having truly dedicated yourself to what and who you love. Embodied authority that comes from having put in all the necessary hours and long nights, from having overcome your own doubts along with all the criticisms of others, from knowing and remaining faithful to your own purpose, from having committed to following your own unique path in life and never compromising your vision or your values. Unwavering authority that comes from having a real and ever-present connection to your deeper/higher Self.
Aries Times, Mars Times: How and When Not to Surrender
Before I get into the lunations and other transits of the month, I would like to address the very important and timely issue of how to use one’s Mars. Because of my own unaspected Mars and the fact that I have Aries on the Descendant, I tend to attract people who have some sort of trouble accessing or using their natal Mars (Mars in hard aspect to Neptune or Mars in the 12th House, for example). And because I struggle with my own Mars, I am in daily conversation with myself about how to best use the energy that this planet represents.
If you’re a Venusian like me (Taurus or Libra rising, Moon or Sun in Taurus or in strong aspect to Venus, an angular Venus, etc.), you may find it somewhat difficult to bring out your Mars… when others are around anyway. You may struggle to speak up for yourself or set boundaries with others, ask for the things you need or want, or put a stop to someone’s problematic behavior.
A friend recently sent me a text in which they used the word “resistance”, and I pretty immediately felt a twinge in my body. I don’t think they were using it in this way, but it brought to my mind the way that the word is oftentimes used in “spiritual” groups or “healing” circles of one kind or another. There is this notion of having to overcome resistance in order to do certain things… like surrender… to the guru or teacher, for example. And I think this is dangerous for obvious reasons, which is why I never went down that route personally. But I know some of you have.
And now we have all been experiencing this not-so-gentle transition from having both Saturn, which was in Pisces since 2023, and Neptune, which was in Pisces since 2011, move into the sign of Aries — where they are now joined by the Sun, Eris, Chiron, and soon both Mercury and Mars. And many of us, or those of us who learned our Piscean lessons, are now having to navigate this jarring shift from a stance of surrender and going with the flow to one of action and resistance. And it might feel a little strange! If you happen to be one of many people who learned how to surrender to life, to your calling, or to a spiritual teacher by overcoming resistance, it might feel “wrong” or counterintuitive to do what feels like the exact opposite of that.
According to the Cambridge Dictionary, the word “resistance” has three definitions, two of which are relevant here. The first is, “the act of fighting against something that is attacking you or refusing to accept something”, and the other is, “a force that acts to stop the progress of something or make it slower.” Now let me ask you: How does it feel in your body and in your heart to read that?
Many of us not only do NOT know how to use our Marses in a healthy and effective way but also are sometimes afraid of our own Marses because we’ve witnessed the terror or destruction it can bring. We’ve learned to keep it hidden behind our backs or under a shelf in the closet or perhaps under lock and key in the basement. And on some level that makes sense because Mars is often associated with anger, aggression, and violence, all of which are things we have learned are “bad” or dangerous. Indeed, we have likely seen the way this energy can be used against others, to harm them and create more suffering in the world.
But there are times when we need anger or wrath or even violence. In order to protect ourselves or our children, for example, or to demand that we be heard. To put a stop to harmful behavior or an unhealthy situation. To make change happen or to destroy that which is detrimental to life or to the health of our family or larger community. And to create a future that supports life and the health of humanity and all the other beings with whom we share this planet.
Anger is the deepest form of compassion, for another, for the world, for the self, for a life, for the body, for a family and for all our ideals, all vulnerable and all, possibly, about to be hurt. Stripped of physical imprisonment and violent reaction, anger is the purest form of care, the internal living flame of anger always illuminates what we belong to, what we wish to protect and those things for which we are willing to hazard ourselves for. —David Whyte
You may have seen the Tower card in the tarot. It is associated with Mars, and many people fear this card because they know it is associated with collapse, crisis, unforeseen change, accidents, and destruction. If that is you, you may want to keep in mind — the next time this card comes up — that both change and crisis are inevitable and necessary for our evolution as individuals and as a species, that destruction is a part of creation, and that violence is an inherent part of the natural world and is therefore unavoidable on planet Earth right now.
The important thing to remember is to use this energy consciously and with the right intentions. There are times when we must refuse to surrender, when we simply cannot go with the flow because what we are witnessing or experiencing is intolerable or unacceptable in some way. Because we know in our heart of hearts that something has gone terribly wrong, and that whatever it is, we must stop it from continuing. There are times when we must act and act swiftly and decisively with courage.
As someone who does not consider themselves an activist and who does not believe that we all need to become activists, I should add here that we each must act in accordance with the dictates of our own hearts and minds. Another important message of Aries is that we must go our own way. While my Saturn may hate to admit this, there is no general rule for how to act in the world that applies to any and all times, situations, and people. We must think for ourselves, and feel our way through the world, deciding for ourselves what is right or what is wrong in each and every unique situation that we are faced with. No one can decide these things for us.
The sign of Aries and its ruler Mars remind us that there are times when we must refuse to compromise, when we need to stick to our guns and thankfully, these are not literal guns! Or not usually anyway. These are our “dharma guns” in the words of one of my teachers. The fact is that sometimes we must fight for the things we believe in or at the very least, claim a place for ourselves — for our own existence and unique perspective on the world and in the world. And beyond that, we must create and protect spaces for others to exist and present their own unique perspectives.
The last thing I want to say on this topic — and this might be a caveat to what I just said above — is about giving people the “benefit of the doubt”. TLDR: Don’t do it. I’ve made this mistake time and time again and hopefully, on March 4th of 2026, I made that mistake for the very last time. I listened to someone go on a tirade that was misogynistic, toxic, and while sprinkled with tidbits of truth, was chock full of mis-knowing. I let them go on and on because some part of me believes that everyone should be heard, that everyone has something of value to say, and that there’s always a light at the end of the tunnel!
However, my friends, there was no light at the end of this tunnel. It was just darkness through and through, the darkness of a mind that is closed and a heart that seems to be filled with rage. And it wasn’t my darkness to face. I most certainly did not have to be the recipient of that person’s angry diatribe.
It is exactly in situations like that that I must get out my fiery Mars, which is in the 3rd House btw, and say, “enough.” I could have said, “dude, enough is enough, either you can stop talking now or I will leave.” Instead, I received this person’s vitriolic mansplaining like a poisoned arrow to the heart and spent the rest of the day feeling emotionally and physically ill. It took a long bath in Epsom salts, some venting to a friend, and other forms of energetic clearing to finally bring me back to myself. Needless to say, lesson learned! I don’t have to take that shit and neither do you.
Contemplating Your Own Mars
For those of you who have some trouble accessing or handling your Mars in a healthy and effective way, I invite you to contemplate how you are working with this energy — or the energy of action, assertion, passion, motivation, aggression, penetration, getting “worked up”, agitation, irritation, stimulation, cutting up or cutting away, taking up space, speaking up, demanding to be seen, impatience, and effecting change — this month in particular.
I recommend paying close attention to your dreams. I recently had a dream involving someone aggressively using a pair of scissors, and it is only when I went into meditation on the archetype of Mars that I realized how Martian the scene was and what the message might be.
If you have any of the below conditions or challenging “situations” in your birth chart when it comes to Mars, you may want to give yourself a little extra grace and compassion this month:
Mars in the 4th, 8th, or 12th Houses
Mars in hard aspect (conjunction, semisquare, square, opposition) to the Moon, Venus, Neptune, or Pluto
Mars conjunct the Descendant
Mars in Taurus, Cancer, Libra, or Pisces
An unaspected Mars (no major aspects to other planets or points)
Mars retrograde (natally or by progression)
Ascendant, Moon, or Sun in Taurus, Cancer, Libra, or Pisces
If any of the conditions mentioned above does apply to you, and you feel so inclined, book a session with me using the link below and we can discuss how you can better tap into and work more skillfully and gracefully with your own natal Mars. None of these conditions are problematic. They are simply challenging, and the more conscious we are of these challenges, the easier it is to face them and the harder it is to shame and blame ourselves when things go awry.
Full Moon in Libra
The first lunation of the month is a lovely full moon with the Moon at 12° of Libra in a harmonious trine aspect with Pluto and the asteroid Hekate in the sign of Aquarius. The Moon will be opposite the Sun, Saturn, and Neptune in Aries, quincunx Vesta and Mercury in Pisces, and square Jupiter in Cancer. As with all full moons, but particularly with this Full Moon in the relationship sign Libra, relationship issues of all sorts are likely to come to the fore.
My sense is that it will be a good time to give voice to the needs of the feminine, be that speaking from your own inner feminine or listening to the women in your life, particularly when it comes to the feminine parts of you or of our world that have been repressed, suppressed, ignored, neglected, silenced, and abused in one way or another.
I know that there are parts of myself that have felt like they have to speak when they’d rather be silent or have to go out and do something when they’d rather stay home or have to keep listening to someone’s diatribe instead of leaving the room or walking away. They have felt like they have to “stick to the plan”, or someone else’s arbitrary schedule, instead of calling in quits. There are parts of myself that have been shamed for being “dark”, or “emotional”, or “too sensitive”, or for needing help or being tired for fuck’s sake. If another person asks me why I’m tired the next time I say I’m tired, I’m going to scream.

While these parts of me are generally quiet or simply trying to get along with everyone, they don’t deserve to be abandoned time and time again. They deserve a place at the table. They’re sick of compromising to please everyone else or avoid making waves. And it is clear that my own masculine parts, or my own louder and more aggressive parts, need to make a space or claim a place at the table of relationship for my other quieter or more introverted parts.
One of my teachers refers to the planet Mars as Guardian of the Night, or the guardian of the night planets, which are the Moon, Venus, and Mars, and I love this epithet. With my natal Venus, Moon, Chiron, and Jupiter tucked away in the “dark houses” of my horoscope and in Earth signs, they need not just a guardian but a spokesperson sometimes. Thankfully, my Mars seems up to the task… now. But we each have to find a way to have our own Marses be in service and act in service to our other quieter, hidden, or less outspoken planets or parts of self.
This month’s Full Moon on the Aries-Libra axis will give us a chance to make room at the relationship table, or in our own relationships, for the quieter or until now neglected parts of ourselves. With Mars conjunct Pallas Athena in the sensitive sign of Pisces and Venus in her home sign conjunct Ceres and square Pluto, it may perhaps be easier than usual to get our Mars on board to help us get what our Venus wants (and our Moon needs), particularly when it comes to our closest relationships. With Mars in Pisces, conflicts or differences of opinion are less likely to turn into confrontations. So, if there’s something you’ve been wanting and waiting to say to your partner, friend, family member, or even your boss, now might be a good time to do that.
For some of us who have long neglected certain kinder, gentler, or more feminine parts of ourselves, an underworld journey may be required from us at or around this time. The potentially tense square aspect between Venus and Pluto will be active during the Full Moon and perfect (come into exactitude by minute) two days later when the Moon in Scorpio joins them to create a T-square with Pluto at the apex.
Like Persephone, we may have to enter into the depths of our psyches to reconnect with lost or abandoned parts of ourselves. And while the journey may be intense, auspiciously, Hekate will be present and watching us during this lunation to help us when we need a little bit of guidance or protection — as we travel between the visible and invisible worlds, between waking life and dreaming, between that which is conscious and that which lies buried in the subconscious, and between ordinary and non-ordinary states of consciousness.
Hekate, Queen of the Night, assists us in traversing the unseen realms and communicating with not just our spirit guides but also our wise and well ancestors and past and future selves. If we so desire and ask of her, she may help us in mediating and negotiating between our old self and new, or between the person we thought we were and the person we are now called to become. Based on where we’ve been so far and to what our soul is beckoning us, she will help us intuit the best path forwards by finding wisdom in the darkness.
So, if at any time during this month’s Full Moon or throughout the month you suddenly find yourself lost in a fog or trying to navigate some darkness, seek assistance from Hekate. It is said that she waits for us at the crossroads. If there is a crossroads near your home, you may want to provide her with a small offering or a token of gratitude after receiving her help. It is said that she eats rubbish, so perhaps an apple core, the skin of an orange, or some used tea leaves will please her.
Hekate shows us the way.
She patiently awaits our arrival.
She is unafraid.
She bears the wisdom of the heart.
She encourages us to be heart-centered and look into our own hearts to find the way.
She eats your fear and your shame, the rage you no longer need, the pain you’re ready to let go of.
She shows you where you can find the parts of yourself you lost along the way or gave away to someone else.
She helps you find your way back and shows you the way forwards.
She knows when it is time to move on and that there are times when there is no point in looking back.
She eats your past mistakes, your failures and regrets, your misknowings and misplaced expectations, your impossible ideals and illusions about others, and those dreams that were never yours to carry in the first place.
She walks slowly, knowing there is no need to rush.
She knows what’s in your heart and needs no explanation.
She is understanding, patient, and wise.
She accepts you as you are.
She watches over you, unconditionally.
She is calm and she is warm, ready to embrace you with her cloak.
She offers you refuge in the darkness, a place by the candlelight to sit and wait, a spot by the fire to warm your heart.
She won’t force you to talk or do anything at all.
She just lets you be.
She is not afraid of emotions especially anger and rage.
She’s seen it all.
She knows that it is all just a part of life, that it is just the way of this world.
She wants to help.
Grand Trine in the Water Signs
From the time of the Full Moon and until Easter Sunday, Mercury will be in a trine with Jupiter, creating a Grand Water Trine with the help of the Moon over the weekend. With Jupiter in Cancer, the Moon in Scorpio, and Mercury in Pisces — and especially if you have any planets or points between 16-17° of the Water signs — this first weekend of the month will be an excellent occasion to do shadow work and engage in emotional healing/transmutation work of all kinds.
If you need to sit down and have a difficult heart-to-heart with a loved one, do it this weekend. If you want to get to the bottom of some challenging emotional pattern inside yourself, use this time to journal about it. Or meditate on it, or ask your dreams for guidance, or discuss it with your best friend, a counselor, or a trusted astrologer. Or, if you’re so inclined, make some art or dance on it, whatever works for you.
The asteroid Eros will be conjunct Jupiter and therefore, also involved in this watery grand trine in the skies. This weekend may be a good time to make a date to hang out with whomever or whatever you love, to spend some quality time with that special someone or something. Schedule in ample time to be with whatever brings you joy or makes you feel more alive, to do the thing that most lights you up or never fails to bring a smile to your face, or to connect with someone or some place in your life who simply by their/its presence reminds you of how good it feels to be alive!
Eros appears as the part of us that desires to connect, that longs to create and pay homage to whomever and whatever can be truly meaningful to us. Eros appears as the natural flow of longing and love within us that is also the evidence of the divine source of life trying to enter the world again through us. Eros is present in all forms of love... in our love of nature and our soulful connections to all other beings. Eros connects us to the uniqueness in the other, whether it be a person, an animal, a place or a plant. Eros can transport us to another realm that is ever nearby, that can be both deeply sensate and highly spirited. —Michael Meade
Mars and Mercury Transits at the Anaretic Degree
Between the two lunations this month, we’ll have a couple of waning sextiles at the anaretic degrees with Mars at 29° Pisces on April 8th (EST) / 9th (JST) and then Mercury at this same degree on the 14th/15th — both checking in with Uranus, who will be at the final degree of Taurus starting on the 6th.
This will be the last opportunity for Mars and Mercury to meet up with Uranus in Taurus and clear out anything — or dispose of any unnecessary baggage, mental or emotional debris, or attachments from the past — that they no longer need before moving into the future and into the sign of Aries where they will then rendezvous with Neptune and Saturn, who have been working together to bring a certain dream or vision into manifestation on the material plane.
A hopefully liberated, lighter and more awake Mars and Mercury will then come together on the 20th/21st at 8° Aries. If you have any planets or points at 8-9° of the Fire signs (Aries, Leo, and Sagittarius) or the Cardinal signs (Aries, Libra, Cancer, and Capricorn), I suggest paying close attention to this month’s Mars and Mercury transits, particularly the sextiles with Uranus at the anaretic degrees.
As the planet of awakening, sudden change, and deconditioning, Uranus may have some suggestions for us in regards to: old beliefs or ways of thinking and acting that we may want to abandon, friendships or sibling relationships that may need to be let go of, suppressed rage or anger that may be ready to be released, or perhaps a few words we’ve been needing to say to someone but have not yet found the courage to say. Uranus may have some insight into these and other matters involving the way we think, communicate, assert ourselves/take up space, and move through the world.
With Mars and Mercury coming together in Aries, the home sign of Mars, this may be a chance for you to finally get something off your chest, to confront someone about something that’s been bothering you, to travel somewhere you’ve always wanted to, or to go out and do something you thought you’d never dare to do. This is not the time to worry about what other people will think. Just do it.
New Moon in Aries
But, before that Mercury-Mars conjunction in Aries, we’ll have a potentially healing and/or painful and intense New Moon at 27° Aries on the 17th of the month. How it goes really depends on how this lunation hits your birth chart (check to see if you have any planets or points at around 27° of the Cardinal signs) and how you personally work with the energy of Chiron, Eris, Eros, Aries, and Mars.
At the time of the new moon, Neptune, Mercury, Mars, Saturn, Eris, Chiron, and the Sun and Moon will ALL be in the sign of Aries. So, if you know how to work with Mars — or your own Mars — in a healthy and effective way and you feel comfortable (or have learned how to get along and move along) with the energy of Aries, this could be a really exciting, fast-moving, and potentially quite invigorating time.
The luminaries will be in an exact square aspect with the asteroid Eros and in an out-of-sign square with Pluto and Juno. Both Pluto-Juno and Eros — as well as Chiron and Eris, sister of Mars and the love rebel or chaos agent depending on how she shows up — are likely to up the emotional intensity of this lunation in wild, weird, and perhaps wonderful ways. Befitting the sign of Aries, it really depends on what you personally choose to do. Or not do with all this evocative energy in the mix.
If you have any planets or points at around 27° of the Cardinal signs (Cancer, Capricorn, Aries, and Libra) in your birth chart, you may want to look out for important insights and opportunities and/or warnings and signs of trouble during the Balsamic Moon, or when the Sun meets up with Chiron and then Eris on the 15th and 16th of the month. We’ll get a heads up during the darkest phase of the Moon, showing us what our next steps should be or could be… come the time of the New Moon.
I’m hearing the phrase, “Put your money where your mouth is.” Not sure what that means exactly… but my guess is that many of us will have important choices to make at this time about how we use our resources — be that our time, energy, or money. We each have to decide for ourselves where we want to be, what we want to be doing, who or what we want to spend our money on, and who we want to spend our precious time with.
Also hearing, “talk is cheap.” Do with that what you will!
If it turns out we made the right choice for ourselves, this New Moon may be an exciting time during which we plant the seeds for some new endeavor, connection, or trip, for example. If it turns out we made the wrong choice, as in, we chose not to follow our hearts or the guiding arrow of our own Eros, then we may find ourselves in a bit of a pickle, or having to face uncomfortable consequences and perhaps a painful lesson or two showing us how the choices we make — and the actions we take — really do matter.
With Venus and Mars in their home signs and the Sun and Jupiter in the signs of their exaltation, I however, am very hopeful about this New Moon in the sign of the golden Ram. And I’m very much looking forward to seeing what and who the month of April brings into my life. Spring is in the air here, and for perhaps the first time in my life, or the first time in a very long time, I’m actually not hating this vibe.
Venus and Uranus Party into Gemini
The last transit I want to tell you about is the one I am most looking forwards to: Uranus’s ingress into the sign of Gemini! We got a taste of Uranus in Gemini last year when the planet of rebellion and liberation moved into the sign of the Twins from July to November, and let me tell you, it felt great! It was exciting and fun to have Uranus finally — or after 7 long years — exit the slow-moving sign of the Bull and lift off into the cool breezes and airy-fairy (which I mean in the best way possible!) world of Gemini, the social butterfly.
Having Uranus back in Taurus for another 6 months was a real bummer, I’m not gonna lie. But from what I’ve experienced these last few months, I now know how absolutely necessary it has been. The Taurus part of my birth chart needed and continues to need a final and deep “spring cleaning” of sorts. Because Uranus’s transit of a sign is typically experienced only once in a lifetime, I am deeply grateful to have experienced it at this time and to have survived the many sudden disruptions and eruptions and shocking and unexpected changes to myself and my life that bright, bold Uranus ushered in!

In the aftermath of certain sudden revelations and realizations, I was left reeling… and feeling quite raw at times, wondering how the hell I’m supposed to move forwards knowing what I now know. But from where I stand now, I know that I will forever be thankful for having been given multiple opportunities to wake up and smell the change that needed to happen — and that I needed to help make happen — in my own life. Crucial opportunities to free myself of the dead weight that was holding me back from doing the things I truly love and becoming the person I am today.
I am overjoyed to see Venus meeting up with Uranus at the anaretic degree of her home sign on the 23rd/24th in order to clear out any unnecessary baggage connected to her and her territory (relationships, femininity, finances, creativity, beauty, etc.) and to show Uranus the best way into the sign of Gemini of which she is the esoteric ruler. On the 24th, she will move into the sign of the Trickster, the Eternal Child, and the Shapeshifter, and two days later, Uranus will join her for the party — one that is sure to blow our minds in one way or another and make very little sense in the short term.
Thankfully, the Moon in Libra will join their wild and witty and aesthetically pleasing celebration of all things strange and queer, creating a Grand Trine in the Air signs on the 28th and 29th with Pluto and Juno in Aquarius. If you have any planets or points at around 0-6° of the Air signs, you are invited, too. I’m sure we’ll have a lot to chat about!
The tea-by-day/dance-by-night or dance-by-day/tea-by-night (you choose) party will be co-hosted by the Mad Hatter and the Chesire Cat at a magical garden by the sea. Music will be presented by Will Hofbauer, Toy from Smalltown Supersound, AceMo, and Acid Pauli with possible special guest appearances from Sun Ra (without his Arkestra) and the newly rebirthed Outkast, who have reportedly renamed themselves Gemarius. See you there!
Love, Kristina
